Options

Board size can be one of the most important options to consider when choosing an Einstein Pedalboard (pedals not included). A good starting point is to determine the total footprint for your pedals by simply arranging your set-up on a flat surface and measuring. We personally recommend adding a couple of inches to your dimensions to allow for adequate spacing.

Another point to keep in mind is the potential for expansion. Often musicians will expand their pedal line-up with additional effects, so please keep that in mind when choosing the size of your board.

All Einstein Pedalboards have a width of 18” from edge to edge and a height of 4” in the front sloped to 2” in the back. Although any size board can be built, the standard lengths range from 20” to 36”. The actual “footprint” for workable space is 1.5” less than your board dimension due to the board frame. Please refer to the sizing chart below for standard sizing and pricing.

Handles

Some prefer the option of handles installed on their board. There are two handle colors available to choose from for an additional $15. They are as follows: Matte Black and Silver.

Power Inlets and Outlets

On Einstein Pedalboards you have the option to add power inlets or outlets. These receptacles are recessed into the board with a flush mount finish. Each receptacle is $20. An inlet receptacle is ideal for running a standard 3-prong extension cord from a wall outlet into the side of your board. Inlets are installed on the left or right side of the board frame.

Outlet receptacles, also known as an “A/C” outlets, are perfect for powering larger “wall wart” type of adapters, but are not recommended for powering an amp. Outlet receptacles are installed on the board top.

Neutrik Locking Jacks

Neutrik Locking Jacks are an excellent option for inputting and outputting your instrument cables. Each jack is $12.50 and can be placed on either the left side or right side of your board frame, you specify.

Soft Case

You can also add a soft case for your Einstein Pedalboard! These soft-sided briefcase style cases are made with “1000 Denier Nylon Canvas” on the outside and are lined with quilted padding on the inside to help protect your gear. Each soft case comes with heavy duty top quality zippers, webbed handles and a padded shoulder strap (not recommended for contents over 45 pounds).
